If your printer isn’t printing or showing errors, try these steps before contacting support:
Check power and connections
Confirm the printer is turned on (power light should be lit).
Service printer shold be phsically connected via a USB cable rather than using wireless. Check the cable is firmly plugged in to both the printer and computer.
Check paper and toner/ink
Open the paper tray and ensure paper is loaded correctly and not jammed.
Remove and reload the paper if it’s curled, folded, or stuck.
Check toner or ink levels – most printers display this on the screen or computer. Replace cartridges if low or empty.
See these instructions: Ordering new toner cartridges
Look for jams or open covers
Carefully open the main printer door and check for paper jams inside.
Remove any torn paper or stuck sheets gently.
Make sure all covers and trays are properly closed after checking.

Clear the print queue
Sometimes a document gets stuck and blocks new jobs.
On your computer, open the print queue, cancel the stuck document(s), and resend your print.

Restart devices
Turn the printer off, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
Restart your computer as well. This refreshes the connection.
Check error messages or lights
If the printer shows an error message or flashing lights, note what it says.
Common errors include “Paper Jam,” “Low Ink/Toner,” or “Offline.”
If your error relates to a drum - see these instructions:
Update or reinstall printer drivers
If nothing else works, the software (driver) that runs the printer may be out of date or corrupted.
Only once the above have been attempted and you still can not get the printer working, can you please reach out for additional support such as requesting a replacement via your Area Manager.
