It may be necessary to uninstall the printer drivers on your laptop when the existing driver is corrupt, incompatible, or causing persistent errors that can’t be fixed by simpler steps like restarting the spooler or reinstalling the printer.
Common situations include:
Frequent print errors (e.g., “Driver unavailable” or “Cannot print”).
Corrupted installation after a failed driver update.
Printer not detected even though it’s connected.
Switching to a new model where the old driver conflicts.
Print quality or feature issues that persist after changing toner, drum, or settings.

- Select Bluetooth & Devices
- Click Printers & Scanners
- Find the printer you want to remove
