Clearing the Print Queue

Clear the print queue if documents are stuck, not printing, or showing errors. This is also useful if you’ve sent the wrong file, duplicate jobs, or the printer remains unresponsive after fixing an issue. Resetting the queue lets you start fresh and send new print jobs successfully. 


  1. Click on the windows icon at the bottom of the screen, and type in “Printers and Scanners”
  2. Click on Open.
  3. Select the printer from the list that you are printing from. 
  4. Click on Open print queue.
  5. Click on the three dots at the top right and select Cancel all.
